The Library Data Platform (LDP) brings simple yet state-of-the-art analytics capabilities to libraries. As the first scalable analytics platform designed specifically for libraries that is 100% community owned and open source, LDP frees institutions from vendor lock-in while providing powerful data insights.

Our platform seamlessly integrates data from multiple library systems, supporting SQL analytics that work with popular visualization and reporting tools. LDP stores historical data to help libraries analyze trends over time and gain strategic insights about their operations.

At the heart of LDP is Metadb, our core analytics engine, supported by complementary tools that enhance functionality for specific library needs. The project is led by Index Data under the Open Library Foundation, with governance that ensures broad community participation.
